5 Reasons To Start A Bullet Journal In 2019

Because we can all afford to be a little more organised.

Bullet Journalling has really taken off in the last few years, which is surprising considering everything else is being slowly digitalised. The act of physically writing your to-dos has been praised for its positive effect on productivity, and for anyone creatively inclined, a bullet journal is a great way to doodle with a purpose. Even if you don't fancy unleashing the gel pens and washi tapes, minimalistic bullet journalling is just as effective a method.

1. Bullet Journalling can be a huge stress reliever.

Whether it's creating the spreads or having all of your tasks laid out in front of you, bullet journalling is literally designed to make your life easier.

2. It gives you a reason to have a massive stationery haul.

(Additional shoutout to those who don't need a reason and go ape in kikki.k just for fun. Huge respect.)

3. It's way more rewarding than having phone notes.

And more permanent! Phone notes are a nightmare to organise and lets be honest- does anyone actually back them up?

4. Planning monthly -> weekly -> daily is the best way to prioritise.

Whether it's your mums birthday or taking the bins out- there's no reason for you to forget anything.

5. You'll be able to look back on your year in detail.

It might not seem significant now, but if your year turns out to be a special one, you'll be so glad there's a record of it somewhere!
